Frankfurt am Main, HE Bike Swap Mobility Funding Program

In Progress

The three-year fund offers 500 euros per applicant who purchases a pedal-powered cargo bike. Households and small businesses that swap to e-cargo bikes can apply for up to 1,000 euros each. Frankfurt allocated 200,000 euros per year to ensure broad adoption of sustainable transit options. This fund joins expanded bike lanes, service partnerships, and repair stations in the city's campaign to reduce tailpipe emissions.
