Glasgow City Council, GB experiments with climate sensor technology in social housing
Glasgow City Council, GB Social Housing Climate Sensor
Tempus climate sensors were installed by project partner North in 30 council homes across two Registered Social Landlords. These sensors transmit data about indoor humidity and temperature over the IoT Scotland network. City and RSL officials will monitor sensor data for signs of mold or dampness that can adversely impact tenant health. The pilot evaluates how project leaders can scale the installation and maintenance of climate sensors across council housing.
