Grande Prairie, AB Community Compass Service Initiative

This city-county collaboration focused on providing one-on-one guidance at in-person hubs, by phone, and online. Community Compass started with data gathering for 2,500 service providers not previously collected in a single location. An online directory called HelpSeeker connects users to resources with a search tool and eight category pages. Grande Prairie hired local navigators for personalized advice and referrals to regional providers.
