Local employers struggle to fill engineering vacancies, while qualified foreign-born residents work in other fields due to employment barriers. The Preparation for Professional Employment (P4PE) Program is a six-week online course designed for foreign-educated engineers. P4PE participants learn about Australian workplace culture, hiring practices, and interview skills from industry experts. Program organizers also recruit employers for networking opportunities and job placements.
