Leeds City Council, GB plans Clean Air Charging Zone

Planning

Leeds City Council is going to launch a Clean Air Charging Zone to reduce pollution and improve air quality. The Clean Air Charging Zone will be an area of the Council in which vehicles that fail to meet minimum emissions standards will be charged daily. The Council launched an online vehicle checker where individuals can discover if they will be affected by the zone and determine their eligibility for charge exemptions or financial support. The zone has been delayed to 2021 due to COVID-19.
