Leicester City Council, GB creates pathways to public employment with T Level placement pilot

Leicester City Council, GB T Level Pilot Pathway Employment

Local officials and Leicester College trial pathways for students in the newly created T Level qualification. This two-year program features an industry placement requirement of 315 hours. Pilot placements include carpentry and electrical roles with the city's housing team. Leicester worked with hiring managers on comparing T Levels with previous apprenticeships and graduate placements. The city hopes to expand T Level placements to departments including tourism and business support.
