Liverpool, NSW Canopy Manager Regional Tree Coverage

The city submitted a request for urban canopy classification proposals as part of the Maxar Spatial Challenge. Spiral Blue took up the challenge by producing the Canopy Manager platform. This prototype leverages satellite imagery and machine learning to produce detailed tree inventories. An accurate inventory allows council leaders to reduce heat islands and anticipate green space needs for a growing city.
