Council officials set a goal to install at least 250 public EV chargers by 2020. The borough maintains 10 rapid-charging units including a recently added three-unit hub in Sussex Place. EV owners can access 175 chargers added to lampposts in 2019 and 2020. Borough officials previously approved 120 charging units for on-street parking spots. This commitment to charging infrastructure ensures a charger within 400 meters of every home and office in the borough.
