The Municipality of Mar del Plata's Secretariat of Productive Development and Innovation launched the "My First Trade" program to support the opening of new businesses. The program provides personalized professional assistance for obtaining authorizations, sealing rental contracts, installing electronic payment processing, requesting electricity/gas meters, land-use allotments, tax payments, etc. The program also helps prospective entrepreneurs open bank accounts and access lines of credit.
