Marion, SA Inclusive Traineeship Program New Pathways

Marion focused on Aboriginal, disabled, and Cultural and Linguistically Diverse applicants during an initial one-year pilot. Program participants rotated among council departments to complete projects and gain work experience. The pilot boosted participant confidence while harnessing diverse backgrounds for new solutions to public challenges. Council officials approved an extension of the program through 2022 due to the success of its initial cohort.
