The Municipality of Meaford partnered with Meaford Recycling to offer an electronic waste drop-off service to residents. The municipality published a list of acceptable (printer cartridges, mobile devices, computer equipment, etc.) and unacceptable (smoke detectors, dehumidifiers, water coolers, etc.) electronic waste on its website. Residents can drop-off acceptable electronics into designated bins six days a week for free to help divert eWaste from going to the local landfill.
