Milwaukee, WI is building tiny homes for homeless veterans
The city of Milwaukee is partnering with Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin to build a village of tiny homes for homeless veterans. The project will include the construction of forty-eight homes and a community center available to veterans for up to two years while they transition to permanent housing. Each tiny home will be approximately 240 square feet and include a half-bathroom. The community center will be 10,000 square feet and will include showers, bathrooms, a kitchen, and a common area.
