The Municipality of Modena is improving its citywide video surveillance system with new installations and equipment. The municipality installed a new infrared camera just outside the city center and replaced several obsolete cameras with higher-performance, high-definition devices. The infrared camera is positioned on a pivoting device with a 360-degree view and night vision capabilities. The cameras are monitored remotely from the operations room of local law enforcement agencies.
