The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation created the "Signs of Spring in NYC Parks" online spring tracker timeline with 20 indicators of spring in city parks such as snowdrop flowers, cherry trees, tulips, and daffodils. Visitors can print out the spring tracker timeline and mark the indicators when they see them. The department updates the online tracker by check marking each indicator spotted by visitors.
