The Innovation and Technology team added street-view images of city blocks into software from State of Place. Each image is evaluated on criteria like signage, sidewalks, lighting, and street design. City demographic and public health data are also applied during this analysis. The resulting 100-point State of Place score for each block creates the foundations for city responses to historical inequality in planning and economic turbulence.
