Port Coquitlam, BC Utility Box Upgrade Aesthetic Safety

Local police and the city's arts and culture team selected photos from local artists for reproduction on vinyl box covers. Each cover enhances the look of an ordinary element of the cityscape and makes it easier to remove graffiti. This project promotes the local creative scene while responding to a costly problem. Port Coquitlam is working with BC Hydro and local businesses to fund 17 downtown utility box covers in 2021.
