Saint-Hyacinthe, QC Snow Removal Text Notifications
The city activates the notification system from November 15 to April 15 each year. Text messages are sent to residents who opt into the system. City officials inform residents of overnight parking prohibitions during snow and ice storms. The notifications keep vehicles off streets during snow plowing and ice removal. A follow-up text is sent when street parking has been cleared for use.
