São Paulo, SP Microentrepreneurs Electronic Invoicing

The city surveyed 2,000 microentrepreneurs about the challenges of completing legally required invoices for commercial services. A smaller group tested early versions of an NFS-e website and offered suggestions on how to make it work in their daily lives. The resulting NFS-e website provides a checklist for every step in the invoicing process. This website includes instructional videos and templates for invoices used in determining Imposto Sobre Serviços or Tax on Services.
