Local residents filled out Dare to Dream cards with their proposed public projects for the 2021 budget. Sequim officials selected five finalists for four days of voting at the Civic Center. The city opened voting to locals, county residents, and visitors with greater weight based on residency. People's Project allocated up to $150,000 for winning projects. Voters selected a water refill station project for full funding and a smart bin project for partial funding.
Project Succeeded
The inaugural People's Project attracted 951 voters. The voting process engaged the region with 539 voters from surrounding communities.
