Skanderborg, DK Electric Bus Transition Emission Noise

In Progress

Biodiesel buses currently operate along Route 21 through downtown Skanderborg. Municipal officials are switching from biodiesel to plug-in buses by the summer of 2022. Each electric bus holds 39 seats and offers low-floor entrances for greater accessibility. The new additions will complete their daily routes without stopping for recharges. Skanderborg projects minimal operational cost increases in the shift from diesel to biodiesel to electric.
