South Dublin County Council, IE Button by Neatbox Pilot

In Progress

The Button by Neatbox pilot aims for a touch-free and accessible pedestrian experience. The Roads Team installed app-controlled crosswalk controllers at intersections in Clondalkin and Tallaght. Pedestrians use the Button by Neatbox app to activate walk signals. The app can be set to automatically request signals based on device proximity. South Dublin County Council gathers anonymized app data to better calibrate intersections for pedestrian traffic.
