The CCTV rebate program covers up to 30% of the cost of new camera installations with a maximum payment of AUD 500. Eligible properties provide clear views of public spaces like roads or sidewalks with installation completed after October 1, 2022. Participants must maintain equipment for at least one year and register with the state's Police Force CCTV Register. This project complements an expanded network of city-owned cameras in gathering visual evidence and deterring crime.
