Toronto, ON partners with the University of Toronto and Purolator on Urban Quick Stop pilot
Toronto, ON University of Toronto Purolator Urban Quick Stop
Urban Quick Stops were installed on St. George Street and Spadina Road as central delivery locations. Each Urban Quick Stop is a converted 40-foot container that accepts package deliveries and drop-offs by local residents. Five e-cargo bikes are used for daily deliveries between both locations and package recipients. University of Toronto researchers use AI-powered cameras and bike sensors for measurements of the pilot's impacts on traffic patterns and emissions.
