Tyler, TX Infants at Work Pilot Work-Life Balance Employees

Employees can bring children aged four weeks to six months old to work during the pilot. Each parent can designate two fellow employees as alternative care providers for additional assistance at work. City officials issue certificates of service and employee ID badges during ceremonies for children who age out of the program. Infants at Work eases employee transitions back into the office while keeping parents close to their children.

Project Succeeded

Tyler won the Management Innovations Award for the Over 25,000 Population Category at the 2022 Texas Municipal League Awards.
