The Municipality of Upplands Väsby has adjusted several of its policies in order to support local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. The municipality reduced the fees for land lease and serving permits to give restaurants a better opportunity to invest in outdoor cafes. The municipality also postponed the company fee and allows restaurant owners to offer catering at home to private individuals free of charge.
