Vancouver, WA Supportive Campsites Pilot Homeless Residents

The three-year program will create three dedicated sites per year across the city. Each site will provide shelter and services for up to 40 residents. Vancouver's Homeless Assistance and Resources Team will work with local nonprofits to guide residents toward long-term housing. Supported campsites feature shower and laundry trailers and outdoor cooking areas. City officials anticipate 25% of the homeless population will be served by the pilot.
