Wyndham, VIC tested smart barbecues in public parks for improved planning and maintenance needs

Wyndham, VIC Public Park Smart Barbecue Pilot

The six-month pilot placed sensors in public park grills at President's Park, Wyndham Vale, and Bloom Street Reserve. Sensors sent data on the length and timing of grill use to a city database for further analysis. City officials could expand sensor usage to inform park reservations and maintenance rotations.
