The council installed four Tesla Destination Chargers at public locations. These chargers are free for local EV drivers to use. Yorke Peninsula also added four Destination Chargers at renovated holiday parks throughout the council. Council leaders placed the chargers at luxury destinations to attract travellers interested in eco-friendly experiences. The Destination Chargers are intended for overnight use at resorts and hotels.
