The City of San Jose developed the San Jose 311 mobile app and online portal to replace an inefficient customer management system that relied on thousands of emails. Residents can use San Jose 311 to instantly submit city service requests for abandoned vehicles, graffiti, illegal dumping, potholes, streetlight outages, etc. The City has temporarily suspended responses to non-urgent concerns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
