Appleton, WI rooftop solar panel renewable energy
The city of Appleton is partnering with the We Energies' Solar Now initiative to generate electricity from an array of rooftop solar panels wired together to function as single system. These rooftop solar panels will be installed at a new library, a transit building, and a municipal services building. The combined strength of these rooftop solar panels will produce up to a megawatt of electricity which is enough to power 300 households.
