Canoas, RS Be On App Address Crime Reporting Gaps

The city's public safety teams lacked a unified channel for resident accounts of criminal activities and emergencies. The free Be On app allows residents to report fires, burglaries, and other incidents requiring immediate attention. The Center Integrated Command and Control receives alerts for each Be On report and assigns officers based on location. This project lowers the barriers to community reporting and creates valuable data for localized responses.
