Casey, VIC Empowering Communities Project Public Safety

In Progress

This program responds to above-average violent and property crime rates compared to neighboring councils. New and existing non-profit organizations apply for grants of up to AUD 30,000 to fund six-month pilots. Eligible pilots intersect with project objectives including connection, community identity, and safety. Council officers will also prioritize pilots with community co-design components in their funding decisions. Casey will use state grants for funding rounds in 2022 and 2023.
