The council works with Bicester Green to provide free bicycle repairs to city residents. Dr. Bike started as a one-year pilot working out of a mobile location. Bicester Green moved repairs to their facility by the end of the first year due to Dr. Bike's popularity. Cherwell District Council extended the initiative into a second year as part of its Healthy Bicester program.
