Christchurch City Council, NZ works with Attentis and Spark on early fire detection network
Christchurch City Council, NZ Attentis Spark Early Fire
Attentis and Spark installed five solar-powered sensors throughout Waitākiri Bottle Lake Forest Park. Sensors gather footage of the park's 800 hectares for analysis by an AI-powered platform. Real-time analyses of air quality, precipitation, and ground temperature predict favorable conditions for wildfires. Additional applications of this first-in-the-country network include communicating pollen counts to patrons and supporting preemptive responses by Fire and Emergency New Zealand.
