Cork County Council, IE and Cork City puts unused paint to good use with Revive Paint initiative
Public officials partnered with Cycle Sense and Northside Community Enterprise for this project. Staff members at each organization were trained to filter, mix, and package new paints from unused paints dropped off at public collection points. The organizations benefit from paint sales, while the city and county reduce costs from exporting waste. Revive Paint also creates a circular economy cycle for the 190 tons of paint gathered by the governments each year.
