Fraser Coast has recruited two classes of temporary employees for council projects. Applicants with office experience are upskilled during free training sessions led by department staff. The council issues a certificate of completion to each participant useful when seeking future employment. The casual employment training program focuses on overlooked talent pools like Indigenous Australians, retirees, and residents with disabilities.
Project Succeeded
The first round of recruitment resulted in 13 residents joining the council's talent pool for administrative and customer service work.
