Jackson, MS Hybrid Buses Public Engagement Transit

The city's JTRAN system added four hybrid buses to its fleet in early 2021. An additional eight hybrids will enter service by 2023, reducing fuel costs and emissions. Jackson officials will build on this green vehicle investment with the ConnectJXN: Transit Plan engagement campaign. Residents provide ideas on how the system can achieve greater transit equity, efficiency, and interconnectedness through workshops and surveys.
