Jefferson County is inviting residents to attend public demonstrations of new voting machines by representatives from ES&S and Hart InterCivic. Attendees will be asked to complete survey questions about each voting machines including preference, durability, storage, on-screen displays, paper ballot clarity, ease of technological function, etc. The county will use the feedback from residents to determine which voting machines should be purchased for the upcoming election.
