Kandiyohi County is partnering with Charter Communications to bring broadband services to rural communities. The county is covering $240,000 in costs with American Rescue Plan Act funding while Charter Communications is investing $563,000 in the project. The $803,000 project will bring broadband internet service to more than 170 rural homes and small businesses across the county. Once completed, residents in the area will have access to high-speed Spectrum Internet services.
