Virtual posters describe guiding principles behind the plan like sustainability, mobility, and growth. An interactive map teaches users about planning factors such as wind energy development and architectural conservation. Additional features include a draft timeline graphic and instructions for resident feedback.

Limerick City and County Council were the first Local Authority to implement a virtual consultation room as part the First Issues stage of the Limerick Development Plan 2022-2028. Due to its success and positive feedback, a similar virtual consultation has been prepared on the Draft Plan.
