Liverpool City Council, GB partners with Vortex on air quality monitoring pilot near schools
Liverpool City Council, GB Vortex Air Quality Pilot Schools
In Progress
Vortex's VTX Air sensors were installed outside of four schools for the pilot. These low-cost, low-maintenance devices track air pollutants including ozone, carbon dioxide, and particulate matter. Real-time air quality data allow city officials to observe the impacts of traffic-calming measures in school zones. City officials use sensor data and the Let's Clear the Air educational website to inform the public about ongoing pollution reduction efforts.
