London Borough of Tower Hamlets, GB Every Child Online

Borough officials are working with the Tower Hamlets Education Partnership and Community Fibre to raise £1 million in donations. The council kicked off the campaign with a £50,000 contribution and 9,250 refurbished laptops from the local and national government. Community Fibre is improving broadband access in areas with limited connectivity. Every Child Online will equip the 25% of local children who lack computers necessary for online learning.
