City of Los Angeles automatically issues sidewalk dining permits to help restaurants reopen safely

Rapid set up for online, automated permitting workflow

In Progress

Restaurants operate on slim margins and it will be challenging for many of them to stay in business with reduced seating capacity. The City of LA created new options for restaurants to use sidewalks, parking spaces, private parking lots, and streets for expanded outdoor dining. LA used CityGrows to automatically issue hundreds of LA Al Fresco permits over the weekend the application was first available. Any government can copy and customize the LA Al Fresco application for free.
