Mechelen, VAN electric wheelchair bicycle sharing program

The city of Mechelen expanded its Bicycle Workshop program to include a new electric wheelchair bicycle. Residents with a physical disability can borrow the electric wheelchair bicycle for free during a 24-hour period and the Bicycle Workshop program is responsible for maintenance. The electric wheelchair bicycle is used by a pedaling passenger to easily transport wheelchair users.
