The City of Miami partnered with IKE Smart City to install 150 interactive, digital touchscreen kiosks in order to upgrade the pedestrian experience and deliver widespread connectivity. Each kiosk acts as a free wi-fi hotspot that displays information specific to the surrounding area including detailed wayfinding, events, job listings, social services, etc. The kiosks are delivered, operated, and maintained by IKE Smart City funded by advertising content displayed when the kiosks are inactive.
