Portage, IN released a mobile app for access to police services
The OCV-designed app connects to the state's sex offender registry and an anonymous tip line. Users can learn more about police programs such as the Assisted Addiction Recovery Initiative. The app also includes social media links and contacts for local and county agencies.

The Portage (Indiana) Police Department mobile application is an interactive app which will help improve our communication with the citizens of Portage and surrounding area. The purpose of this app is to improve our ability to communicate with our citizens Information which will include, but not be limited to Submit A Tip, News, Social Media and more. Citizens may submit a crime tip directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. By empowering people through technology, the Portage Police Department will be able to better protect our county. This app is not meant to be used to report emergency situations. If you have an emergency please call 911.
