The City of Richmond proposed an Intelligent Operations Hub at its Smart Cities Ideas Fair as part of the national Smart Cities Challenge. The Intelligent Operations Hub would link data streams and assess management platforms across multiple agencies to improve the effectiveness of city responses in cases of minor disruptions or major emergencies. The city also intends to use the proposed hub to enhance community service delivery for residents
