Rochester, NY evaluates sustainable solution to transit inequity with Floshare EV sharing program
Rochester, NY Floshare EV Sharing Transit Inequity Solution
In Progress
The Floshare pilot stations shareable Chevy Bolts at three public parking lots. Commuters reserve EVs for $5 per hour or $40 per day on the Floshare mobile app. Each trip includes 150 free miles, insurance, roadside assistance, and free charges using EV Connect cards. City officials offered $10 in Floshare credits for every completed survey during a month-long engagement on user experiences.
Project Succeeded
Rochester reported more than 60,000 miles driven by 110 Floshare participants during the pilot's first nine months.
