Rosario, SF celebrates resident creativity and inclusivity with sidewalk tile design competition

Rosario, SF Sidewalk Tile Design Competition Inclusivity

In Progress

City officials opened a month-long competition for adult residents to submit tile concepts. Eligible designs are replicable and incorporate some or all of five suggested colors onto 15 cm2 tile. Rosario wants applicants to address Carta de Ciudades Educadoras - Charter of Educating Cities - principles like diversity and intergenerational dialogue in their applications. A committee of city officials will select a winning tile for use in a Shared Effort community sidewalk project.
