City officials approved the six-month pilot to fill gaps in the Adelaide Metro bus and train network. Commuters ride to eight stops for free including Parabanks Shopping Centre, Globe Derby Park, and St. Kilda Adventure Playground. The community bus operates three times per day on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This trial period provides data on local transit needs as the council considers a continuation or expansion of the program.
